Cop Out

I went to Cop Out in theatres last weekend, it was hilarious the main character is a dad; and he is a cop. But he needs allot of money for his daughter’s wedding, he doesn’t want to have to have her step dad pay for the wedding. So he decides he is going to sell one of his prize processions, a really old valuable baseball card. So he goes to the pawn shop to sell it. But right as he comes in a gang holds him up and takes the card.
His partner and he decided they are going to get it back. They have a lead one of the gang members have been caught. So they interrogate him, which for me is the funniest thing in the world, because his partner does it and it’s hilarious. The guy cracked and gave them where the guy would be. But in the middle of them trying to catch them they mess up and get fired. So now they cant storm the house with the help of the cops so they decide to do it themselves. And they ran into something they did not expect.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT

30 Days of night
I watched 30 days of night last night; it’s about the small town in Alaska that gets raided by vampires. Almost all of the citizens in the town are killed except for this small group of people who went up in a pull down staircase attic. But they can’t last up there forever without food. Because there is a time period in Alaska that makes it so it is dark all the time for 30 days all day, which allows the vampires to be on a patrol all of the time. Since the survivors can’t stay in the attic that long they have to move to the general store. Which they decided the best time to do that was when a blizzard was going on. So they got to the general store. Some of them at least there had to be a distraction for them to get there. Then they find a survivor but he isn’t exactly fully human he has been bitten by a vampire and he is slowly turning. I thought this was a really good movie and I enjoyed it allot. p.s. it’s not very scary mainly gory.

Pirates of the Carribean Dead Mans Chest

I watched the Pirates of the Caribbean dead man’s chest over the time I have been sick. I enjoyed it allot because there was allot of action in the movie. And Jack the main character is very tricky and clever, not to mention kind of a coward. But he is helping Will to get Elizabeth out of jail and they run into all kinds of troubles, for instance the east India trading company. Though out the movie They go to all different kinds of places and Jack the main character runs into an old friend he owed 100 years of service to. They run from him but Jack has the black spot, the spot that the worst creature in the water follows and tries to kill. Will in order to get Elizabeth out of jail( even though she has already escaped Will not knowing) he does something stupid, although it ended up he ran into someone he would of never thought he would ever see again. But the sea creature is still after Jack and his ship so they get out of the water. And run into some Native trouble on the island.

Walking Tall

Walking tall is a movie I watched over the weekend. The main character comes back to where he used to live, to work at the mill and to be close to his family. But the mill was closed because a new casino is in town. The main character goes to the casino two times, just to say things didn’t work out so well for him. He almost died, and the second time he beat the crap out of about 8 people. In the movie there is a pretty crooked sheriff, so the main character runs for sheriff and wins. He catches the criminals and figured out that the security guards at the casino are making drugs in the mill and he stops them from making anymore. He also runs into an old girlfriend and they get back together. I enjoyed the movie a lot. And I would recommend it to people who want to see allot of fighting.

A really good movie I just saw was a one with Ashton Kutcher, I don’t exactly know what it’s called because it was on TV. The movie was about a guy who had to move away from his best friend who was a girl. But he came back when he was older and he found her, he asked her a question about what her father had done to her. But he knew anyways she ran away and committed suicide the next night. But the main character has this ability to read something in his journal that he wrote. He used to have black out when he was a kid. Know the blackouts are coming back to him and he writes them all down in his journal. And he wrote about the time when her dad abused her and went back and prevented it. So the girl was different. But every time he tried to do something write something would go wrong. After 10 or so times trying to make it work, he goes back in time and makes it so they were never friends so both of their lives would work out. And that’s how it ended up.

White Collar

White Collar is a relatively new TV show on USA. I was just flipping through channels and I started watching this. The main character is a criminal named Neil. He went to jail for stealing. he has major girlfriend problems, and now he works for the guy who caught him when he escaped jail. They salve crimes and he works undercover. White Collar kind of reminds me of allot of movies, it has plenty of things that make you think a little bit, and allot of criminals in it.
I like white color because I think it is funny. I enjoy watching Neil outsmart everyone else. Another reason I like it is because Neil is really trying to find his x-girlfriend who is trying to run from him because the cops told her to. Neil would do anything to get her back. I would recommend White collar to anyone who wants to laugh a bit, be amazed by someone smartness, and have a great time watching it. That’s why I blogged about White Collor.

First semester portfolio- reflection

First semester
First semester I learned a lot I didn’t know before. Like For instance in English I learned what an awwubis is. I still don’t know exactly what they are but I’m working on it. Also, I learned how to make good sentences instead of boring ones. Next, we learned to shut up in class, as we I’m speaking for the whole class.What I learned for myself is that it is really hard to catch up when you have been gone for several days. Next, I learned that school is allot easier if you’re not on the teachers bad side, and maybe I shouldn’t play games in SRB (student responsibility) if I don’t have everything done.The most important thing that will help me the most is that you have a lot of years of school ahead of you. So u might as well start liking school because otherwise it’s going to be horrible. Drew

First semester porfolio- piece i would like to revise

The piece I would like to revise, would probably be the piece on how I fell off of the giant stone jackrabbit. I thought of this story when she said if we had any injuries that we wanted to write about. So I thought which one I should write about (I have allot of them by the way). So I picked it, and I just wrote the concept of the whole story. But I would like to change it a little bit so it makes more sense, and tells a little more about what happened, and add some things like an awwubis to make it sound better. That’s why I would like to change it because I think it could be way better than it already is. The genre of the story is a short story.drew

First semester portfolio- favorite piece

My favorite piece I have written this year would probably have to be the one about my dad and his accident that he had. Here is the gist of the whole thing my dad was working in his bucket truck (he is an electrician) and it was icy outside. He reached down for a tool and he fell out of his bucket on to his truck. He just thought he had knocked the wind out of him, but he didn’t. He broke 3 ribs punctured a lung and had internal bleeding (he had to get 12 blood transplants). How I thought of writing about this is when my teacher Mrs. M asked if we had any accident or if our family members have, so I thought of this. The genre of the story is a long story. It’s my favorite story because it took me a long time to write and I put a lot of effort into writing it (it was 5 pages long).
